Interesting layout. The "top" card is now inverted. The two PCBs sandwich a
thick cooler with copper inlays on both sides. This allows for a [hopefully
quieter] double-width fan. Each PCB has large cutout, so the fan draws air
from both sides. If you chose to go quad-SLI on an older motherboard where
the PCIe x16 slots are only two spaces apart, the cards can still breathe.
nVidia has definitely learned from the 7950GX2.
Note the "bottom" card has the 6-pin power connector, despite hosting the
nForce 200 chip and the fan, while the "top" card has the 8-pin.
