GeForce Go 6600 - refresh rate is low no matter what

Hi,

I've been very happy with my laptop (Toshiba Qosmio F25) and highly
recommend it to others. It has been able to handle any game/application
I throw at it. The graphics card is GeForce Go 6600, which has worked
perfectly with my games such as GTA SA and NFS Most Wanted for several
months..

Seen that the Dell "Renegade" system included a Physics
accelerators card. How exactly does this thing work, and is there any
games taking adavantage of such a thing? DirectX maybe?

High performance dual monitors?

I've heard that higher end cards perform better at higher
resolutions. Does that mean a higher end card would shine in dual
monitor applications like Flight Simulator 2004 when the total
number of pixels is about double?

Anybody know the specific attributes that are good for dual monitor..

If you are willing to help do follow these instructions very closely;

I have a 6600GT card in a HTPC machine which does pretty much does
MPEG-2 and WMV decoding acceleration through the PureVideo decoder all
the time, and pretty much never uses 3D mode at all.

Would increasing the 2D mode GPU clock and memory speed improve the
decoding speed of PureVideo? How..

Hello

Well, before you start screaming that I should have gotten a faster card
I have to tell, that I read about the FX5200 and it seemed to satisfy
all my requirements and I knew that it was a budget card, but hey MX440
was also a budget card so I didn't expect it to be worse than MX440 ..
