I inserted the coolbits into registry and it still will not allow me
to overclock the memory or the gpu. What is up with that?
It's a 64-bit, as opposed to 128bit, 6200 geforce card?
omg what did i do wrong this time?
wtf?

Thanks a Jesus-Kabillion folks

bye for now

Have you got the correct coolbits registry file? There's a new one since
Forceware drivers came out With the recent drivers you need this one.
Cut this into Notepad and save it as coolbits_forceware.reg then import
it. Works with 7x.xx and 8x.xx series. I downloaded it from
www.guru3d,com I'm sure.

Good luck - and don't forget most 6200s around seem to be fanless so you
may be wise putting a simple 40mm fan on the heatsink and/or making sure
there's airflow over the memory chips.

Hope this helps.

Neil.

Try RivaTuner, available at www.guru3d.com/rivatuner

Whether overclocking is worth the effort, though, is another matter. Even if
you get a 50% overclock and all of that translates into real-world
performance improvements, it would still be too slow.

You went with a 64-bit memory bus card. Looking at Newegg,
nowdays you can get a vanilla 128-bit 6600 AGP staring at $101.25,
which has 8 PixelPipelines. With the 128-bit 6200 AGP based on the
NV43 GPU being so rare now, the 6600 AGP 128-bit is just as cheap, and
you don't have to gamble on whether the NV43 based 6200 can have the
extra 4 PixelPipelines unmasked since the 6600 already has all 8
working.

Geforce 6200 overclock Hi The Geforce 6200 is currently the best value card on the market in terms of ratio - it has de-crowned the 6600GT! It also has the latest generation GPU, and supports the new directx 9.0c. Questions: Anyone know how well it overclocks?

LE or vanilla. is there any way of checking whether it's a full 6800 or a 6800LE (has less pipelines and shaders) Robin.

9800 pro or 6800 vanilla its a tuff choice I can get a 9800 pro 256 and flash to xt, or a BFG 6800 OC?

6800 vanilla or 6600gt Am looking to change my graphics card this summer to one of these two cards. Has to be agp. looking to spend about £180, but dont mind strecting it -abit! I'm personally going towards the 6800, but im just wondering which manufactures are the best? withou

Unlocking a Vanilla 6800 I have heard there is software that allows you to unlock the hidden pipelines in a plain 6800 and increase performance. Does anyone know the name of this software? Will it work on both AGP and PCI-E versions of the cards, or on AGP versions only? TIA -S
